Annee Matthew was born out of the need of a nursing mother. In 2001, Annee Neo wanted to breastfeed her newborn daughter for as long as possible. With the time commitment required for nursing, Annee needed a variety of attractive, functional clothes to wear while breastfeeding—clothes that would also allow her to nurse discreetly and modestly. Not finding what she needed, Annee collaborated with her sister-in-law, a dressmaker, to create the Annee Matthew line of maternity nursing wear.
Annee Matthew was a home-based (and one-woman!) business until about three years ago. From referrals and word of mouth, Annee Matthew has grown into a bustling design center that sends maternity nursing wear around the world.
